Dosco Thursdays come to London
London doscos are organizing a Dosco Thursday on the last Thursday of every month with the first get-together planned for 27th July, 2006.
The Venue: The Elbow Room - Westbourne Grove
Nearest Tube Station: Bayswater (District / Circle Lines) (see attached map)
Time: 18:00 hrs onwards (special drink offers from 17:00 - 20:00 on selected drinks)
The elbow room has pool tables for those interested in sharpening their queues and playing with balls!
Uniform: Dinner Clothes

A big thank you to all who turned up for the first Dosco get together and for those who couldnt make it- dont miss the next one and a yellow card goes without saying.
If you missed it, you missed a great night and we would like you to know we kept the dosco spirit and flag flying high and sometime during the night the venue changed from The elbow room to a small hole in the wall Austrian / German restaurant (name escapes us all) where they served beer in liters and the women wore lederhosen. It was like we were at the Octoberfest, some of us spoke German while others charmed the women with their 'nag' dances!!!
The night ended as you would expect with Rishu pestering the DJ to play Anand loke. See photo attached.
We are now planning the next venue so please send us some ideas/bars. Some of you have suggested stringfellows... not a bad idea but try picturing 50 doscos at strip club- mayhem and all the ingredients for an India today story.
You have a months notice till the next get together so plan accordingly and PLEASE send us names of other doscos who are here but not on the list we have.
Finally, we have decided to do this on the last friday of every month and not thursday.
