Batch of '69

An intrepid group of 69’ers got together to organize a rafting trip at Rishikesh in April 2002. There were 13 of us including some young Doscos, some of our children at school also joined for rafting in the morning. The evening was spent around a bon fire on the river bank. Next morning all of us went down the rapids. It was an exhilarating experience especially with Bharat Swaroop as an anchor of one of the rafts.

The year saw reasonable interaction also between 69’ers, as most of us have started turning 50 during this year, there were several bashes and all of us have had a good time reliving memories. It was kind of sporting to see most wives attending the bashes. At one such gathering at Navtaj’s place, our own Mr Gurdial Singh joined us. The sixtyniners haven’t given up and Nandan is taking another plunge at marital bliss - we wish him all the best.
