Dear Friends,
Volunteer work done by Doscos for Buddhist monks in Ladakh was recently featured in the newly re-launched Tehelka website. This story represents some of the best things about Doon. See http://doononline.net/pages/info_features/pressroom/press102.htm
Other recent additions to Doon Online include:
-An interview with two lawyers in the Interview Series. One of them left government to become a lawyer while the other interned at the Supreme Court before going on for a graduate degree. See http://www.doononline.net/pages/info_features/features_spotlights/interviewseries.htm
- The original Virtual Doon discussion board is online once again with over 3,000 messages posted. Continue an old conversation or start a new one. See http://doononline.net/ubbcgi/ultimatebb.cgi
- Over 150 Doscos have participated in the site survey so far. Your feedback will help us improve Doon Online. If you haven‚t responded, please do so at http://doononline.net/pages/community/survey.htm And if you have , thank you for taking the time to do so. The survey will be closed on March 6th.
- 262 users participated in the Doon Online Poll in which we asked if the Doon School brand is more important than the education. The results are as follows:
Yes - 41%
No - 54%
Not sure - 2%
Neither is special - 3%
Several users also commented on the question. The comments have been archived in Virtual Doon. Visit Doon Online to participate in the new poll question, "While at Doon, did you learn more in the classroom or outside it?"
