Several Doscos win elections
Several Doscos including Rahul Gandhi, Jyotiraditya Scindia (632-JB '88), Dushyant Singh (590-K '80), Kamal Nath (366-H '64), Mani Shankar Aiyer (55- T '57), Jitin Prasada (315-KB '92) and
Naveen Patnaik
(382-K '63) were elected to the Lok Sabha in the recent national elections. Times of India talked about these Doscos in politics in a May 10th article, titled "Dooned if you do, damned if..."

Professors interviewed for Doon Online
Arjun Bedi (561-TA '88) and Bhaskar Vira (286-JB '85) were recently interviewed for the Interview Series on Doon Online. Both professors who are based in Europe have some thoughtful insights into Doon, their careers and what it means to teach.

Doon School featured in the Indian press
The Doon School was featured in two colorful articles titled, "Chhota Hazri bell tolls for desi Etons" and "Tough guys, not little babalog" in the Indian press recently.

Doon School makes "Social" History
Doon School history was made with the first ever socials for "C" formers with Hopetown school on April 18th, 2004. The successful event included dancing, musical chairs and some not so good food. Doon is now exploring ways to introduce socials for "S", "A" and "B" formers as well.
Poll results for the question "Did you enjoy Doon?"
371 users participated in the Doon Online Poll in which we asked if you enjoyed studying at Doon. The results are as follows: Yes, absolutely - 55% Yes, most of the time - 22% I'm not sure, it is hard to say - 6% Not really, I did not enjoy Doon - 2% No, I hated Doon - 8%. Participate in the new poll, "When you think of Doon, what do you remember the most?"
